Now users can use Copilot during live call sessions without retaining a transcript or audio recording afterward. This ensures that users benefit from Copilot during sensitive conversations where a persistent record is not desired. Once an admin has enabled this option, users can initiate Copilot without transcription or recording simply by tapping the Copilot button in the header menu. Copilot in Teams Phone helps automate important administrative tasks during calls, such as capturing key points, task owners, and next steps, so users can focus on the discussion.Â

They can use code blocks to assist with creating technical designs, mermaid diagrams to illustrate business processes, tables for efficient data analysis, or interactive charts to make complex information easier to understand. They can add this rich content to Copilot Pages to further edit and refine with Copilot and colleagues. Pages shared in Microsoft 365 are interactive and automatically synchronized for seamless collaboration.
Users now have more flexibility when adding content to Copilot Pages. They can insert Copilot responses into a new or existing Page or apply responses across multiple Pages within a single chat.
Users can now seamlessly search the web directly within Copilot in Excel to find public information like dates, statistics, and more without disrupting their workflow or leaving Excel. For example, users can look up a list of countries and their exchange rates and integrate the results into their workbook as a table.
Users can now access agents within Copilot Chat when they are accessing Copilot in new Outlook. Now, users can use agents to automate and execute business processes without having to leave Outlook.
The latest Copilot in OneDrive capability enables users to ask questions directly about the content of their images. How this will affect your organization:
Here are the changes in this rollout:
The "Manage what attendees see" feature in Microsoft Teams helps organizers deliver polished events more easily by simplifying the attendee view and keeping the focus on participants who have been brought on screen. We’re introducing a new enhancement that gives organizers and presenters even more control over when shared content becomes visible to attendees.
Currently, when a presenter shares content, it is automatically displayed for attendees. With this update, shared content will first appear in the Manage screen’s left panel alongside other presenters. An organizer or presenter must manually bring it on screen, providing greater control over the attendee experience and preventing unintended interruptions.
Once shared content is brought on screen, the presenter sharing it will now see their content displayed instead of a text message indicating they are sharing.
Additionally, organizers and presenters joining from mobile will only see participants or content that has been brought on screen. Previously, users would see all organizers and presenters on their mobile devices.
